For a practicing PA, course selection is often about more than a single exam or topic. You may want a PANRE review while also building knowledge in another clinical area. The key is to distinguish the credit assigned to the full accredited program from the credit offered by an individual module, then understand how the multi-course discount applies to the purchase price.
The Program-Level View: 468.75 Credits Across 14 Modules
The PANRE Review Course is one module in Comprehensive Clinical Review for Practicing PAs: 2026–27 Enduring CME Activity. The full 14-module program is designated for 468.75 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. The PANRE Clinical Review Module accounts for up to 100 credits of that program total.
Those figures describe different scopes. The 468.75-credit designation is for the full program; it is not the credit award for purchasing the PANRE module alone. The PANRE module is the one that offers up to 100 AAPA Category 1 credits. Do not assume that the full program total applies to an individual course or to a cart containing selected courses. Review the relevant course page for its specific credit details.
The PANRE course also includes a substantial exam-review component: 2,500+ board-style questions across 15 body-system modules, five full-length 240-question mock exams, and rationales with cited sources. A PANRE Readiness Dashboard and downloadable slides are included as well.
To earn credit for the PANRE activity, review all module content, score at least 70% on the post-test, and complete the activity evaluation. Missed questions may be retaken. A certificate stating your precise credit is issued after completing the requirements.
How Bundling Courses Changes the Price
Each course in the catalog (including courses in areas such as Cardiology, Family Medicine, Dermatology, Emergency Medicine, Neurology, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, and Pharmacology) is listed at $499.99 for 30 months of access. Buy two or more eligible CME courses, and 20% comes off every course automatically.
Here is the safe example:
- Two courses at $499.99 each: $999.98
- 20% discount on the course prices: $799.98
- Add an optional $500 gift card at face value: $1,299.98 total
The discount is a price adjustment on the courses, not an increase or a combination of CME credits. When considering a bundle, choose courses for the content you need and check each product page for its credit information. The 468.75-credit program designation should not be treated as a credit total for any pair of separate course purchases.
For PAs comparing options, this can make it easier to plan a broader learning purchase: select the courses that match your study and practice priorities, then account for the automatic course discount when you calculate the price.
Where the Paid Gift Card Add-On Fits
At checkout, you can choose from our cme gift cards: a paid Amazon or Apple gift card add-on in tiers from $100 to $1,500. You can add a gift card to every course you buy. The card is an optional purchase at face value; it is not a free gift, and the 20% course discount does not apply to it.

Gift cards are emailed within 2–3 business days, so you do not need to finish the course first. Gift card packages are nonrefundable. Check your employer’s CME policy before selecting an add-on, and note that CME Review Courses is not affiliated with Amazon or Apple.
Think of the gift card as a separate line in your transaction. In the example above, the course subtotal after the discount is $799.98; the $500 card adds its full $500 face value, for a total of $1,299.98.
Clinical Vignette: Emergent Topics
The PANRE question bank includes 70 questions in Emergent Topics. Consider this scenario:
You are evaluating a middle-aged adult who ate at a restaurant and, within minutes, developed diffuse urticaria, lip and tongue swelling, throat tightness, wheezing, hypotension, and tachycardia. What should you do first?
Correct answer: Give immediate intramuscular epinephrine in the anterolateral thigh.
A. Administer IM epinephrine in the anterolateral thigh.
B. Give an antihistamine alone.
C. Give inhaled albuterol only.
D. Administer IV corticosteroids or observe while awaiting laboratory results.
Why: This presentation is anaphylaxis with airway and circulatory involvement. IM epinephrine is the first action because it addresses the life-threatening reaction.
- B: Antihistamines may improve hives and itching, but they do not reverse airway or hemodynamic compromise and are too slow to be the first intervention.
- C: Albuterol may help bronchospasm, but it does not address hypotension.
- D: Corticosteroids have delayed onset and are adjunctive, not first-line treatment. Waiting for laboratory results delays the only listed medication that changes the immediate course.
Exam note: When anaphylaxis includes airway or circulatory involvement, choose IM epinephrine first, before antihistamines, steroids, or anything else.
Credit and Eligibility Caveats
The PANRE activity is designated for up to 100 AAPA Category 1 CME credits under AAPA reference number CME-2016187. Its approval is valid from 8/26/2026 to 8/26/2027. Claim only credit commensurate with your participation. The course page is the source for the activity’s requirements and details.
Nurse practitioners should check with their state board of nursing because acceptance of AAPA Category 1 credit for NP renewal varies by state. For physicians, the activity meets AAPA Category 1 requirements, but it counts as Category 2 for physicians’ own reporting.
For your NCCPA CME cycle requirements, consult the NCCPA Continuing Medical Education page for current information.
