PA Student Remediation for PACKRAT and End of Rotation Exams
Every PA program has a few students each year who score low on the PACKRAT or fail an End of Rotation exam. The program then has to give those students a structured plan, confirm they followed it, and keep a record. The PAtopia Remediation Pack is built for that job. Faculty assign a seat to each student who needs one, the student works through full-length practice tests, and faculty open a report that shows what the student did and where the weak areas are.

What each seat includes
A pack seat gives one named student the PAtopia PACKRAT Review and all 7 End of Rotation reviews: Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Psychiatry and Behavioral Health, Surgery, and Women’s Health.
- PACKRAT review: 5 full-length practice exams, 1,125 questions, and the study library.
- End of Rotation reviews: 5 full-length exams for each of the 7 rotations (35 exams), 600 questions per rotation, 4,200 questions in all, each with its study library.
- Every question has a rationale and references. Students can skip ahead, highlight the question stem, flag items, and pick up where they left off on any device.
A single-rotation retake seat gives one student one rotation’s review, chosen by faculty for that student. It fits the student who failed one End of Rotation exam and has a retake coming.
The faculty report: documentation for the student file
Faculty sign in to their own dashboard and see only their program’s students. For each student the report shows:
- Every practice test the student started, with the score, questions answered, time spent and dates.
- Score by content area for each test, weakest first, against a 75% goal.
- Retakes of the same test as separate attempts, so improvement is visible.
- A before-and-after comparison from the first test to the most recent.
- A print or save-as-PDF button, with a line for the faculty reviewer’s signature and date.
Faculty can also download a spreadsheet for the whole group, either one row per student or one row per student per test. Students see their own version of the same report, so advising meetings start from the same numbers.

Access for each seat starts on the day faculty assign it, not at checkout, so unused seats do not run down.
How it works
- Choose a pack above and complete checkout.
- Your order confirmation email includes the link to your faculty dashboard, which is ready as soon as payment goes through. The purchaser is set up as the first faculty member. To add other faculty, email their names and email addresses to info@cmereviewcourses.com.
- Faculty assign each seat by entering the student’s name and email. The student receives sign-in instructions by email.
- Students study on a phone, tablet or computer. Faculty open the report whenever they need it.
Each seat belongs to one named student. A seat can be reassigned only until that student answers a first question, so logins are not passed around.
Remediation Pack or Program License?
The Remediation Pack is for a handful of students who need targeted work on the PACKRAT and rotation exams. If you want every student in a class to have PAtopia from the didactic year through the PANCE, including the PANCE and End of Curriculum reviews, the PAtopia Program License covers the whole cohort for one flat price. A Remediation Pack purchase is credited toward a Program License bought within 12 months.
Questions faculty ask
Can a student use their seat on a phone?
Yes. PAtopia runs as a web app in any browser. Students can add it to their home screen, and their place is saved across devices.
Do students see the report?
Yes. Each student has a progress page showing the same test-by-test breakdown faculty see. Students cannot see each other.
Does the report show official exam scores?
No. It shows the student’s PAtopia practice activity. Official PACKRAT and End of Rotation results come from PAEA.
