Daily CME Tips: Three Clocks Every PA Should Track Before Claiming 100 Category 1 AAPA Credits, Your Cycle, the Activity Window, and Your Course Access

PANRE Review Course with Gift Card: $499.99 for 30 months of access. Includes 2,500+ board-style questions and awards up to 100 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. Amazon and Apple gift card add-ons are PAID add-ons selected at checkout, not free gifts.

Check three clocks before you buy

If you’re planning to earn CME with a PANRE review course, track three separate timelines: your NCCPA certification/CME cycle, the activity’s approval window, and your course access period. They relate to one another, but they are not interchangeable.

The practical takeaway: verify all three before purchasing, then plan to finish the credit-earning steps with margin. Course access can last longer than the activity’s approval window, but it does not extend that window.

Clock one: Your NCCPA certification/CME cycle

Your two-year certification/CME cycle is personal to you. Check your own cycle dates through NCCPA and review the NCCPA CME requirements before you decide when and how to claim credit. The NCCPA key dates page is another official reference; use your own NCCPA account information for your specific cycle.

The PANRE Clinical Review Module in this course awards up to 100 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs may log AAPA Category 1 CME toward NCCPA requirements as permitted by NCCPA policy. Claim only credit commensurate with your participation, and confirm that the timing fits your cycle.

Keep the product distinction clear: these 100 AAPA Category 1 credits apply to the PANRE Review Course, not the Pharmacology course. Physicians may find educational value in the content, but for physicians’ own reporting this activity counts as Category 2 CME. Nurse practitioners should verify acceptance with their state board of nursing before purchase, because AAPA Category 1 acceptance for NP renewal varies by state.

Clock two: The activity’s approval window

The PANRE Clinical Review Module is part of Comprehensive Clinical Review for Practicing PAs: 2026–27 Enduring CME Activity. Its AAPA approval is valid from 8/26/2026 to 8/26/2027. The activity’s expiration date is 8/26/2027.

To earn credit, review all module content, complete the post-test with a score of 70% or higher, and complete the activity evaluation. Missed questions may be retaken. Once both the post-test and evaluation are complete, a certificate stating your precise credit is issued.

Complete those credit-earning steps before the activity expires. The longer course access period does not extend the activity’s approval. The accreditation statement on the course page applies at the program level; it covers the full program, not just this module.

Clock three: Your course access period

The course includes 30 months of access from purchase. That gives you time to study and prepare, but it is a different clock from the activity’s approval period. If your access continues beyond 8/26/2027, that does not mean you can still complete this activity for AAPA credit after its expiration.

So, plan to finish the content review, post-test, and evaluation before the activity deadline, rather than treating the end of your access period as your credit deadline. Starting early gives you room to work through the material and complete the required steps without waiting until the last moment.

The course is now a web app. You can use the lectures, post-test, evaluation, and certificate on a phone, tablet, or computer without downloading an app.

What’s included in the PANRE Review Course

The course has 2,500+ board-style questions total: 15 body-system question modules with 1,810 questions, plus five full-length mock exams with 240 questions each. The system modules are mapped to the NCCPA PANRE blueprint. Each mock exam includes per-question rationale and cited sources.

The course also includes high-yield lectures with downloadable slides and a PANRE Readiness Dashboard. Use the dashboard to track attempted-versus-correct questions, review per-topic performance, flag questions, and retake questions. The “on track to pass” indicator appears at 75%+.

Every answer explanation has been rewritten to current (2023–2025) clinical guidelines and is individually cited. The course’s question modules cover Reproductive topics, among other body systems.

If you’re earlier in training and weighing pance prep courses, this course covers the same NCCPA blueprint tested on PANCE and PANRE.

Paid gift card add-ons: know what you’re selecting

At checkout, you can add a paid Amazon or Apple gift card in $100 tiers from $100 to $1,500. The card cost is added to the course price, so the complete purchase runs through CME funds in one transaction. These cme gift cards are add-ons, not complimentary items.

The gift card is emailed within 2–3 business days of purchase; you do not have to finish the course first. Gift card packages are nonrefundable, and CME funds policies vary, so check your employer’s policy before buying. The site is not affiliated with Amazon or Apple.

If you buy two or more CME courses, 20% is automatically taken off every course. The discount does not apply to gift card add-ons; those remain at face value.

Reproductive module practice question

Your patient is a reproductive-age adult with acute unilateral pelvic pain and vaginal spotting. The patient is tachycardic and hypotensive. A pregnancy test is positive, and pelvic ultrasound shows no intrauterine pregnancy with free intraperitoneal fluid. What is the most appropriate next step?

Correct answer: Immediate operative management for suspected ruptured ectopic pregnancy.

A. Discharge with close outpatient follow-up
B. Treat with methotrexate
C. Repeat the pregnancy test and ultrasound at a later visit
D. Arrange immediate operative management

  • A. Discharge is unsafe in a hemodynamically unstable patient with suspected intra-abdominal bleeding.
  • B. Methotrexate is not appropriate when the patient is unstable and rupture is suspected.
  • C. Delaying intervention for repeat testing risks worsening hemorrhage.
  • D. Correct. The presentation is concerning for a ruptured ectopic pregnancy, requiring urgent surgical management.

Pragmatic exam note: In an unstable patient, do not delay emergency consultation for serial testing or repeat imaging. Use the clinical presentation to prioritize stabilization and definitive care.

Plan the purchase and the credit steps

Before purchasing, check your personal NCCPA cycle dates, the activity expiration date, and the course access period. Then schedule time to complete the required content review, post-test, and evaluation with margin before 8/26/2027. The gift card arrives within 2–3 business days of purchase regardless of when you finish the course.
