Recert Countdown: A Last-Quarter CME and Exam Game Plan

If your recertification deadline is in the last quarter and you’re feeling the pressure, the fix is a plan, not panic. Broken into steps, the final stretch is very manageable — even if you’re starting later than you’d like.

First, audit your CME. Log into your NCCPA account and see exactly where you stand: how many Category 1 hours you have, how many you still need, and your logging deadline. Knowing the real number replaces a vague dread with a concrete target.
